Re: Transmission Cooler

Flat ground running, the engine ran at about 165° and the tranny just slightly higher. However the moment we climbed, the tranny increased as much as 230° while the engine, even unde...

Re: Where is my Cruise Control Module?
What is all that electrical business you've got going on under your hood lumpy? It separates the stock elec loads from the add-on loads. 2/0 cable from battery to 100A circuit breaker. The stock stuff (ign, lights, horn etc) all draw their power from there, BEFORE the circuit breaker. They all are ...

OK. Found the cruise control servo near the ThrotBody. The linkage to the TBI
is missing. Now I'm off to pull a part to find a replacement.
Thanks all.

Re: Transmission Cooler
Your 2000 should already have a trans temp sensor. I read mine using a Scanguage2. I'm not sure, but I would guess any of the vans with the E version of the 4L60 would have a temp sensor as I seem to remember reading the way the trans routes fluid it dependent on the computer reading the temp. I am...

Re: Stiffest shock absorbers
Perhaps...Have your local welder guy tack on a pair of additional shock mounts on the "other side" from the OEM mounts. ie, passenger side add a rear-of-axle mount, driver side add a front-of-axle mount. Then add whatever you like to increase the damp. Rear shocks are simple and accessable...
