Re: New Owner of Overland Vans

Thanks everyone for your support. It has been very busy and I'm now just having a bit of a lull so I thought I'd get on the site and say thank you to everyone. It's been a bit of a shakey start, I just recieved all the cad files, files for the instructions and parts list. Everyone has had to put up ...

So for the customers in the States the only thing that changes are the brackets and things I ship from here. The heavy stuf...

Re: Hello from Calgary Canada

Thanks, the 231 is manually shifted, Correct? Would that be a pre-87 S-10? I just don't want the electrically operated one. By the way, does anyone know how the fellow from Overland vans is doing? It doesn't look like the site has been updated lately and I was curious as to how his struggle is comin...

Re: Hello from Calgary Canada

Great! tbhager94, my daughter who up until now hadn't shown any real interest in cars was very intrigued when she got in the heavy shop and saw a Jetta on the hoist with most of the front end off. It was the first time she really had seen the inner workings of an automobile and she was drawn to it. ...

Re: Hello from Calgary Canada

Thanks tbhager94, there's some light at the end of the tunnel and it's not a train. I checked RockAuto and they were $510 cheaper. I'm going to have to go back to the shop I use and tell him. He used to be very reasonable when he was starting out but now he has someone else running the front desk. I...

We aren't far from there. I don't want to digress too much so I'll ask a van related question. I apparently need ...

Hello from Calgary Canada

Hello Everyone, We recently purchased a 96 Astro AWD with 290,000 kilometers or about 200,000 miles for a poultry sum of $800 Canadian. I have to admit I just wanted something practical for my wife and kids so she wouldn't be driving my Titan any longer and since it's a Chevy I figured I could proba...
