Re: Pics of my 2in lift on a 1999 Government Fleet Vehicle

Quick question, if you don't mind about the lift kit. Did you just purchase the 2" kit, or did you get the bumper relocate kit too? (Getting ready to lift mine as soon as the tax return comes)

Thanks!

Re: Another new guy from Oklahoma!

Well, a couple more weeks and she'll be getting some mods. I guess the tube bumper is out, as I see Gerald isn't stocking exactly the same merchandise that Dan was. Oh well. Still on track for a 2" lift though. Also thinking about HIDs or Projector conversion.

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?

Today I: - finished installing the backup camera I bought my wife for Christmas - Replaced my "screaming" blower motor with a new one from Autozone. - Removed my broken fake-chrome grill and epoxied it back together, then painted it black (it was the only chrome on the car, all other trim ...

Re: Trailer hitch

Well don't I feel foolish...

That makes finding a hitch a lot easier (we have one where I work...)

Thanks!

Re: Trailer hitch

Okay, I know this is an old thread, but I figured I'd bump this one rather then start a new one.

I have an '03 Astro. Why is it that all the hitches I'm finding seem to be only for the extended models?

Where's a good source for a hitch for a standard length Astro?

Tow/haul package (no hitch on it currently, though...) Its got a few scratches and such, but then, so...

Yup.

Well, I figure its worth ~$6k but my coworker could only come up with $4k so the deal fell through.

Re: Another new guy from Oklahoma!

Thanks guys. No worries about the late welcome, I've been so busy at work this week I really hadn't had much time for the internet until tonight. Had a coworker ask me, out of the blue, today if I wanted to sell my Camaro. So... May be getting an Astro sooner then planned. We'll see. In the meantime...

Another new guy from Oklahoma!

Hi I'm Ara and I'm from the Tulsa area. I don't have an Astro/Safari yet, but I'm looking at 'em. I currently drive an '02 Z-28 but its getting too small for the kiddos. The wife wants a Mini-van, I want an SUV (Well, I really don't want to lose the Camaro, but life happens, y'know...) so our possib...
