Re: What did you do to/with your van today?
More long deserved maintenance on my van. New Cap/Rotor, plugs and plug wires. Now I remember why I put this job off for so long.

Weatherstrip part number?
I need to get some new door weatherstripping for my 95 van. I can find the pieces that go all the way around the doors to seal it up. But there are smaller pieces that I cannot find. On the drivers side there is a small piece about 3 feet long that runs up the a-pillar and across the top of the door...

I was busy today. Changed the oil, air filter, fuel filter, rotated the tires, cleaned the windshield and put on Rain-X and lastly I put on new wiper blades.

Re: post random photos that you have shot
Guys I have to take a minute to brag.... This weekend there is a festival in my hometown. On a lark I entered two of my photos and I won in the amateur category. I am stunned. Apparently there is even prize money involved! These are the two: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p123/NotDadsW41/Experim...

Re: It No Fit...
That's some good info on those sites. I'm considering a similar swap for my Caprice.
I'm thinking a 5.3 or 6.0 with the Active Fuel Management...

Re: It No Fit...
Have you looked at Street & Performance's website, http://www.hotrodlane.cc/, for a different bracket setup? No, I haven't. I guess I should. I've tried looking at their site a few times and I don't find it easy to use. I've done a few web searches and the only relocator kit that pops up is the...

Didn't someone here, or on the other sit, have a LS1 in an AWD van?
Shouldn't the install of an LS1 be virtually identical? Or is there something I am missing?
LS1AWD was the user name I think.....
Here's his site:

Re: Magicjack
WiFi cell phones will be disappearing soon according to what I have read. The carriers are after the phone makers to make WiFi not allow VoIP services. It hasn't happened yet. But it's on the way.

Re: Drivers side power window motor
Oh what an assumption. I have never had my door panel off before, but that is not stopping me from considering doing my power window motor replacement. Nor does the fact I am willing to do it mean I have any idea at all how take off the door panel. :) Hmm.. Maybe I should change that to: If you are...

Re: What to do with dead air compressor
Well I found someone who wanted it. My mom talked to a guy in my hometown, about 60 miles away. He wanted it. So since we were headed down there for Mother's day anyway, I even delivered it for him. Got $70 for it. He's going to replace the motor and put a better compressor on it and use it for pain...

Re: What to do with dead air compressor
Explain more please. It's starts. Runs about 2-3 seconds and then the breaker trips. I am told the high speed windings in the motor are bad.
