Keeping a coat of Vaseline on it might help.
Can't get it inside anywhere for 6-8 hours just to touch it up?

Re: B2 Stealth Bomber circling Los Angeles....?
Cool pics! Where I used to live we were under a flight path for KC-135s. I looked up on several occasions to see B-2s pulling up to refuel!

Re: Jump seats on the rear doors?
Given the doors are just sheet metal, I wouldn't do it either.
Maybe make something that would mount to the floor to get the extra strength from that?
You could use some of the floor mounts from the other seats to make it removable too...

I tried that Jake with an extra console I had.
I just couldn't get mine to fit right though.

Re: CB Radio mounting location
I took the console down and drilled a hole in the roof on that van for a Wilson 5000. One other thing I would recommend if you do a Shelf-It. When you take out the passenger side visor, take a piece of strapping and attach it to the Shelf-It and that mounting point for the visor clip. It will stabil...

That was a factory console. That was my 92. It's gone now. The Shelf-It I did by from JCW.

Get PB Blaster instead of that Liquid wrench. If the head of the bolt is round off, you can get something like this:

Re: RAIN-X ??
Rain-X is one of the few products that I have seen advertised on TV that works exactly as promised. I love it. I do every piece of glass on my vehicles.
When I have taken rental cars on trips, I will make a pass back to my house so I can clean the windows and Rain-X them before I leave.

I don't know about the pulsator going bad. But that definitely sounds like the same thing that happened when the spider in my 95 when went bad.

Gary, It's my understanding that every block from 87 on was roller capable, even the truck blocks. They just didn't put the roller cam in place. The keeper for the roller lifter just mounts into the bottom of the intake valley. All the other needed machining was done.... Someone correct me if I am w...

Love that Pontiac, was that a Bonneville? I do have to admit though that I don't the idea behind upholstering the inner fender well. Look real close on the left front you will see the same style of material as the dash....
