Re: adding universal keyless entry
Well, the keyless entry has been in and working for a month now. The system works pretty good but does have a flaw. The universal unit has a memory in it, If you hit the lock button it knows it is locked and will do nothing if you hit the lock button again. This is only a problem if you, or someone u...

Re: new wheels
So does the Rocky Mountain Edition include any customisations to the interior? I really don't know enough about these vans to give you a proper answer. It has 4 bucket seats, no keyless entry, no overhead display, but seems to have all other options. The headrest on the bucket seats also have the &...

Re: new wheels
I put the new wheels/tires on the van today. I had to do a bunch more trimming as the new tires rubbed pretty bad, but all is clear now. Here are the glamour shots, Decals still gotta go!

adding universal keyless entry
My van (99) came with power locks but no keyless entry. I wanted the keyless, so I bought a universal unit off of E-Bay. It cost me 98cents plus 12 dollars shipping. I was not expecting much from this unit, but when it showed up I was actually quite impressed by the quality for the price. Hooking it ...

Re: keyless entry?
My van (99) has power locks but no keyless entry. I bought a universal keyless entry package off of E-Bay and am going to install it. Can anyone offer any insight as to where/which wires I should patch into for the door locks. I'm not to concerned about having the rear hatch unlock separately. One b...

Table saw chandelier nice! T.low, By the looks of it, You, your brother in law and I would get along great(I have a dual sport klx450) My shop can get a real good clutter on as well, I like to tidy before I start a task. Re: pics of your shop
Nuts, absolutely nuts. You're an artist is what you are. The door is absolutely incredible, as is the railing.... My garage is nothing compared to your personal rendition of the industrial revolution, though I've completed a few fun projects in there. I recently finished up an elevator which goes i...

Re: pics of your shop
Most of the stuff done in my shop is just boring fabrication. I do end up drinking a lot of free beer while making friends any sort of bracket needed for whatever strange project they have at the time. I also make any and all of the furniture i need for the house as well as neat architectural pieces...

Re: pics of your shop
Thats a colchester dominion 15x48. Usually referred to as a "round Head" . Its gotta be from the 50's. It has since been updated a bit with a Digital read out, and turns very true. I find The old stuff is built way better than anything new. It is simple and straight forward to work on and ...

Re: pics of your shop
I am a Millwright by trade and a bit of a metal artist by play. My work has me doing a lot of machinery installations. It is amazing how little care big business has, as to what happens to old machinery when they are looking at a brand new one getting installed. Often I can buy the old one for a son...

Re: pics of your shop
I love shop talk! My shop is 32x40 and squeezed in behind my house. I had to get a variance permit for a structure that big in town.
The first pic shows the size of my shop compared to the house as I had torn down the garage to build a new Bedroom/Garage?Rooftop deck.
