Re: ball joints

i didn't think that the tie rod end had to be removed. no pickle fork here,,, just a BFH :muhaha:

although, i do have this big c clamp thing for doing universal joints, that i feel will help me out.

cv joint check?

i've noticed that only when i'm backing up and cutting my wheels to the right, i hear a strange sorta clunking/wierd noise. i can't really describe it. it only seems to happen when i'm backing up. is there any tell tale sign of a bad cv joint? is it cheaper/easier to buy a new/used axle? it's pretty...

Re: torsion bar adjustment

i'll probably take a few different measurements in different spots. i'm sure i'll figure it out. i just wasn't sure if there was a specific spot to measure from.

Re: torsion bar adjustment

awesome, hopefully i'll be able to do that this evening. when i bought the van last year, buddy told me that he had torsion bars replaced. i dunno, i'm definitly gonna give er' a try to see what happens. should i measure from the fender down, or from the bar itself down?

thanks

torsion bar adjustment

(front) i did some looking and didn't come across any specific measures to adjust the bars. i've checked the autozone site as well and that led me no where. so my question is: how can i ...
