no wonder i couldn't find this post to check on it. for some strange reason it decided it wanted to go under this v8 swap. i tried to put it elsewhere....maybe it was put here for me, i dunno.
either way, thanks for the reply, so you suspect it needs replacement huh?

cherry picker woes....
i was hauling a 302 out of a mustang the other night, and the cherry picker lifted the engine maybe 4 inches or so, then it stopped co-operating with me. there was a little rubber plug in the ram, and that went flying out. i've tried adding fluid, and decresing the level, are there any tricks to the...

i was talking to my "parts guy" yesterday, and we got on the subject of v8's. he informed me that he has a 88 vin w v8 from one of his camaros. it is stripped down, he has 2 sets of heads, and an assortment of cams to choose from. now, when it comes to totally stripped engines, i ain't tha...

touchy brakes
i've noticed in the past few days that after the van has been sitting for a while, the brakes become very touchy. however as i drive/use my brakes, the better it becomes. is this a moisture issue?
thanks
thanks

Re: shingle transport
I do have the composite springs. however i just used one of the fire apparatus instead. (ford f-550 chasis). that didn't seem to have much of a problem. i had to pick up a few other items as well. it is nice to know that if i ever encounter this again, i'll know what the van should be able to handle...

shingle transport
simple easy question. i was asked to pick up 20 bundles of shingles. would the 95 awd like it or no? what would a bundle weigh? 30-40lbs? x 20, so roughly 800lbs. that shouldn't be an issue, would it. it seats 7 adults.

hey i know what u'r saying about a loud pump. mine is loud also but i'm not too concerned about it, ya know why? cuz when i bought my van, i noticed that the gas tank straps were'nt all the way snugged. so just that alone makes me think that my pump has already been changed. if not and i get strande...

i 've been pricing shift kits'. all i need to know is which would be the better kit to go with. price wise and install time wise. i've got a hard shift 1-2 and it does it all of the time. no codes. and since i have no way of knowing if there is already a kit in there, i've decided to buy one more of...
