Looking for a set of AWD motor mounts for a v8 or a set of plans to make them.

We have RCMP here... they are never in town... MUHAHAHHHHA

That was with stock manifolds, stock Y pipe and a cherry bomb muffler

Ok so i have a 91 astro AWD... I found mounts.... I can make the oilpan. Question is... i wanna use a 1991 Caprice engine in the van but the cars motor has an extra sensor that the van does not intake air temp sensor in the air cleaner box. The van doesn't have the 2 wire hookup to run it either so ...

i forgot to mention the idle gets rougher as the engine heats up to operating temp.... no idea why??

checked for vac leaks.... none that i can find

no codes at all... the egr is moving as it should through the rev range

the injectors are spraying a nice even cone... no dribbles

gonna test the fuel pressure tomorrow

My 91 astro awd has a crappy rough idle.

So far i've changed the o2 sensor, plugs, cap, rotor, temp sensor, plug wires test good for resistance...

That's all i've changed but it still has a crappy idle.

Has anyone got any other ideas?

237,000 kms so not really high but I will check the gauges to start.

Just go this van home today. The speedo was working when i picked it up but died on the way home.

What do you figure it is?

A) Battery is stone dead and had to be boosted?
B) VSS?
C) Wiring?
D) Digital dash issues?

Just like it says... just got a 91 awd safari but the speedo stays at 0 all the time.

Could be the VSS or could be the dash but i'm curious if anyone has ever swapped a normal dash where the digital was?

Need as much info on changing torsion bars on a 1991 AWD Astro/Safari van.

The ones on this van are both broken and the front end is sittin in the weeds.

Install the v8 with or without the trans attached? I have opted to get the 350 with its original 4l60e trans rath...
