99 Safari won't start

The engine turns over, fires initially then dies. You can hear the engine fire once then dead. No repairs or anything changed lately. It started yesterday but not today. Any ideas guys. It has new dist cap plugs wires coil this year.

Thanks Jim. I let the van sit for 30 minutes, went out to check the battery cables. All was tight. I started the van and it started and idled fine. Then when I hit the gas it sputtered. I gave it the lead foot and took it for a ride. It ran fine, stopped and went several times and it seems good to g...

Today I installed 2 new front door handles on my 1999 GMC Safari. It would have been a PIA if not for the help from some members who posted some how to info. Thanks for that. Unfortunatly I unhooked the postive from the battery before unhooking the power windows and now it won't stay running. It die...
