No noise with out belt changed belt and tenshion pully and idler pulley tried to track doun with thetescope just cant pin point it . the wierd thing after it warms up it stops making noise thinking might be ?

Thank for reply Safari Bob did that already and even swaped out pulley by it self changed belt to its driving me craze cant tell where noise is comming from. Tring to see in anybody has had this problem before .

when i start van in the morning i get a whining nois after a drive and it heats up it stops making noise . Changed tenshion pulley and belt cant realt tell where the noise is comming from.

i added some fluid after a 300 miles trip like maybe a small portion of oil .

when picking up speed around 30 it starts to hum a bit then if i let gas pedal go it cut out the noise.

Sounds is there when hitting 65 to 70 then when i take foot of gas from 70 to 65 . It sound i guess like a rumble can only hear it at that speed . If it was the differential would it be through out the drining or onlt certain speed.

I have a sound in the rear when i go to 65 to 70 miles and then when i let go of the gas i hear it agian . Any ideas 98 Safari 117000 k

It sounds like it stay stuck in gear when i stop and hear a clunck never done it before

dose anybody know if the pvc valve soppuse to fluctuate rapidly . Or only once in a while .

recently the transmission seems to down shift hard when i come to a stop . And noticed today when i slow down form 70 to 65 or go from 65 to 70 i hear some rumbling noise . Not realy sure where noise comes from.

Gmc 1998 1115k Van the gas pedals sticks once in long while i just taped and works find swapped out cable had a kink in it . The other thing is once in a while its like i come to a stop and the van stay a bit accelerated any ideas all.
