I think I might need another starter...

I have noticed the last few times I've started the van that it sounds a bit more "harsh" that first instant the starter is cranked over. Then this evening leaving work, I went to crank it over and it just died. It actually sounded like it was free spinning before it abruptly stopped. I cra...

Good luck to all, plenty of warm water around, and no more land to slow it down, I'd be worried too.

Re: Fast and furious AGAIN?

Fast and the furious is one of those movies, for me at least, that it doesn't matter how silly and rediculously fake it is, it doesn't matter that the acting sucks. All that matters is that it's fast paced with a lot of action, has cool cars and of course loud racing engines. Now if anyone is in to ...

Re: HURRICANE OFFICE POLICY

Isn't that the truth though? I know that's the way everyone thinks around here. We have a floating holiday at our work (otherwise known as a hurricane day) To be used in the event of a hurricane but if it is not needed, then it's used the day after Thanksgiving. No one wants to use it for a hurrican...

Re: major headache

Have you done any voltage drop testing on the ignition or fuel ciruits? It only takes a very slight increase in resistance to cause big problems.

Re: Battery Relocation

I've often thought about relocating the battery, I haven't really looked under the van for suitable spots though. My original plan was to cut a hole underneath the drivers seat and fab a sealed battery box there. Since batteries are pretty tall and I don't want anything sticking out like a sore thum...

Re: Tropical Storm Fay

I don't know capt, Every now and again, I do get the urge for a change of scenery, but then, that's what vacations are for. :D This storm lasted, for me anyways, just under a week- 4 days actually from the time it made landfall, to the first glimpse of sunshine after the storm. Usually they're gone ...
