Re: Dynamat. How much is needed?
Thanks again for the replies, So based on you both have said, roughly 200 sq ft. it's best to order a little extra as well, So Id' be looking at 6-7 packs of dynamat extreme. Cheapest I've seen for that is $158 per bulk pack. :yikes: :yikes: That's close to a thousand bucks!!! That Fatmat is looking...

Re: 700+HP motorcycles
They're certainly cool, and I'd love to have one, but they ain't practical! The weight of that thing has got to be crazy, perhaps as much, if not more, that a full dress touring bike. I've seen guys fall off they're bikes at stoplights who were unable to pick the bike back up without help. I can onl...

Re: Burnouts from around the world
Actually, I think he was talking about the guy in the first video on the Bicycle. Although that was a great burnout on the motorcycle. I'll never under stand why they have Burnout competitions done where they place the bike against a wall or other wheel stop. It makes no sense. Anybody can park a bi...

Dynamat. How much is needed?
I know there are several people that might know the answer, but how many bulk packs are needed for full coverage (including the roof-- especially the roof!) of an EXT model window van? I've read on other forums where 4 bulk packs were used on small cars such as a prelude or civic. But I thought that...

Re: Wooden supercar?
As awesome as that car is, and it is awesome, I would hate to be in an accident with it. Imagine all the wood just shattering in a million pieces. And there's no metal frame?! Great craftsmanship though..

Re: door emblems(removel)
My 94 AstroEXT has 2 bolts for each emblem going thru the door. It's very accesible though. Just take of the door panel with the window up and you can reach them. You'll need what looks like a 3/8" socket, though I'm sure a pair of pliers would work just as easy.

I believe the "grids" are just land formed in such a way as to harness (not sure if that's the best word) the water needed for the plant operations. Maybe.. Just a guess.. I'm just a

Yeah, I can definely see military potential with it. Down the road after refining its movement to be more natural. Cover it to look like a real animal. Hell, if Hollywood can do it, I'm sure it could be done in the military as well.

Re: need help identifying complex in south florida
That, sir, is Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant. The Grids that you see are part of the plant as well. Not quite certain how it all works however. (I'm not a nuclear scientist ya know!) From what I've read so far, it provides an enormous amount of the power in south Florida. There was a pretty big po...

After a miserably uncomfortabl 5000 mile 3 weeks of traveling in my 2001 Ford Expedition with 3 adults and 2 kids (10 and 11), I realized it was time for an Astro again. Note to self, don't buy a Ford Expedition. What the heck am I talking about? Stay away from any Ford!! Seriously though, that's a...

Re: major headache
Just a shot in the dark, but perhaps you have a leak at the intake manifold gasket or throttle body gasket. How do the plugs look? I'm not sure how you would check for it in a car, but on motorcycles, we would spray the intake manifold with starting fluid, or brake cleaner, where it mated with the h...

Wow, I need to watch the news more often. Last I heard it was heading for Louisana. Well, good luck, hope you need the rain! Sometimes these storms can be a good thing. Say for instance, if you're in the middle of a drought. So do you plan on boarding up the house? Or do you only do that for the &qu...
