Bill, what do mean by direct fit? Are the lengths different or something like that? What I mean is the 93-95 4L60E case is basically the same as the 700R4. It will bolt in the same as yours with the same inspection cover and the same cooler line angles. You have to manipulate the lines to fit the n...

I installed Peter's 97 trans to my 93 so yes, it will bolt up. Albeit I was dealing with AWD. Like stated before you will need to fab your own dust shield or go without. Just in case you don't know, a 93-94 4L60E will be a direct fit unlike the later two piece units. Also, unlike the 700R4's there i...

The front brakes on my AWD have had a dragging problem a couple of times due to bad front hoses to the calipers. As a matter of fact I have a set sitting here waiting for me to install.

In reference to Peters van, the newer vans don't use sensors at the brake area.

F8 was not used for 93-94 models. That is all I know as my schematics only go to 94. E8 is for shift solenoid B which is used on all. It is pin B on the tranny connector. It is yellow\black. It seems that all you need to find out is what pinout on the ECM is for the PWM solenoid in the tranny and wh...

It is in and running Astro95. Here is a link on AS.com. http://www.astrosafari.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=9;t=18198 I still need to post it over here but untill then... If you are going TBI I highly suggest going with a 350 if you can get one. If not, the 305 will be better than the 4.3 but ...

OK, thanx for that "in-depth" response :yawinkle: but didn't Darren fit a full-size rad into his v-8ed truck even before swapping in the later model front end? I just answered the question, that's all. They are not interchangable. The 95+ are larger in both width and height. The 95+ also ...

Update: Almost done. Extended the steering shaft and shifter linkage. Installed the Taurus fan. Modified stock exhaust to fit. A gazillion other things I can’t recall right now. All that is left is to install the correct chip, bleed the brakes and steering, wire in the fan, extend the front bumper m...

The VSSB in my 93 with a 4L60E only has the single set of jumpers. It looks just like the DRAC in my 92 with a 700R4 but they are not interchangable.
