The only problem with the AWD thought is the front diff that goes in these vans. I've broken both the diff and axles with the 4.3. So that is something to keep in mind if you build a high torque motor like you suggested. I must mention that I have a 4X4 transfer case so I have more torque going to t...

I'll eventually post all the wiring when I know it works but there are only a few wires left over that don't do anything. Two out of four wires at a relay, three out of five wires that went to the linear egr, one knock sensor wire and the two wires that went to the IAT. All easily capped and bundled...

What a freakin day! Murphy was with me the whole time. I got everything rewired, extended wires, added wires ect. All soldered and shrink tubed. Did everthing that needed to be done in order to try and start the engine. Here is how it went: 1. No fuel pump. Checked voltage at the wires. All was good...

Ok, I was WRONG. Just tried my 97 seats they are different. According to the GM manuals: 1.Disconnect the J-hook at the bottom of the seat back as follows: a) Fully recline the seat back. b) Disconnect the hook-and-loop fasteners at the bottom edges of the side bolsters. 2. Reach inside the seat. Re...

The conversion vans are basically cargo vans. The conversion company usaully just adds carpet, ect to the steel access panel on the rear doors. Passenger models have the rear doors covered just like the front doors. Try taking off a front door panel with the door closed and you will know what Blazer...

Sorry I'm late but all you have to do is bang the armrest in and push it back at the same time. Then wiggle it off. It's very easy once you do it. It will go back past it's normal up position about and inch or two. It's funny, when I was with Witman40 at the junkyard I decided to show him how to tak...
