Re: 6 x 9 speakers for the rear doors

Well I got the 6 x 9's today - a pair of Sony XS-GT6935A - I replaced the rear 6.5" speaker and still have them running of the stock amp. Lots more low end just with this change. Of course the install included a trimming the door panel and cutting the steel behind. I took out the old dremmel wi...

Re: Rear Door Speakers and Mystery Wiring

Well I hate to admit it - but I give up - tried the defrost - wiper - door locks - audio system? - aux. lighting (worth a guess) - trailer wiring (another set?) - but I cannot find a use for these wires - so they are taped up and returned to the passenger side dutch door cavity for a time... so the ...

Re: The Best Millage Possible

To tell your rear end ratio - look up the RPO codes on the door and then find the lists of RPO codes on this site and cross reference.... simple as that - as for more mileage - if someone has some secrets.... SHARE! - I get worse mileage with my AWD.....

Re: Gotta change the differential fluid...

From my experience doing my diffs - make sure the 3/8" extension is truly a square drive - not one of those with rounded edges for cosmetic, slight motion on the socket. that and a little 36" breaker bar action - not to mention some squirrel piss (WD40) - and she came out like nothing

Here is a photo of my drivers side rear dutch door wiring attached to a new speaker - I am not sure if you can make out the strip on the wiring - but this might help. I'll find out exactly once I am at home tonight and post again then.
