Re: Brakes did something funny

I am sure you have done it but check those lines to the back end - a little rusty leak and somehow not presenting itself on the ground and you've found you problem. However I am sure you have killed that idea by now, and your probably right the master cylinder is the issue. Keep us posted. Man now t...

Re: Hybrid RV's

Well I guess I'll have a van for sale soon - I picked up a 2006 Expedition - King Ranch, with the HD tow package (Ford was smart and installed a separate tranny cooler - NOT integrated into the rad) - loaded except for DVD - so guess that means I'll have to clean up the van and get ready to part wit...

Re: Hybrid RV's

Might actually go with the Expedition - seems to be better value - with a little less milage - it's only gas... lol I even looked at a Suburban LT and it had no low range t case - anyone know for sure - I think some do have the 2 speed t case but not all - and I am not sure when or how they determin...

Re: Hybrid RV's

100% agree lifted - took a test drive today of a 2007 Yukon XL Denali - nice... but I don't think I'll end up with something that fancy - worst part is they did away with the 2 speed transfer case in the new Yukon, Suburban - that seriously SUCKS! I think I am going to go looking for an older one wi...

Re: Hybrid RV's

So I finally upgraded and bought a hybrid RV - van towed it okay to Sylvan Lake from Calgary - not that many big hills however - the front end of the van did lend to a few wobbles when the heavy trucks passed - kept it to 100kph and didn't try to push it further - about 80kph uphill and 2nd gear (ab...

Re: Hybrid RV's

Well I bought a 2006 Dutchman Kodiak 235 - GVWR 4820lbs - van tows it okay - with the airbags, weight distribution hitch, and the tranny cooler, but goes to about 80 on the hills in 2nd at about 4,000rpm - don't push it more than that in second. Might need to find me a V8 for towing - maybe a Yukon/...

Re: flooring ideas?

cork would also be fine - it does NOT really absorb water - however depending on the weight of your hound he/she could damage it - cork would deaden sound also - but the neoprene squares would be good also Come to think of it I think Costco has a neoprene type shop mat that could maybe be cut down t...

Oh ya good party - thanks Woodies! Hey Chev. screw ...

Re: 95 safari wiper motor so slow....

I am assuming same would apply to the 2001's - we are having a typical Calgary Springs and with the snow we are receiving the old wiper motor on the front started making a hell of a racket - nice howling noises - I really should record it! Anyway I'll see if I can get around to that but it looks lik...
