Oh, me me me me me. I love the power. I got to get a tach though, raced a Colorado through an intersection that goes into one lane and I think it was doing 7000 RPM, it wouldn't shift out of first. He never saw that coming.

Re: Spark Plugs in a 2003 Astro
Aloha, I use a swivel spark plug socket, not a swivel and a socket. or in the drivers side where the swivel and a 24" extension won't work I lay on my back and reach it from under with a 3" extension.

Re: TPS (throttle position sensor) Symptoms
Get a OEM fuel pump, or NoAutoPartsAvaible Assembly. When the pump only goes to 40 on the first cycle it's time for a Very expensive pump.

Re: Dam emissions

First thing I would do is, the basics, a correct procedure for a compression test. For one reason or another unburnt fuel is entering t...

Re: LT1 SWAP
This is a miles per gallon post. My gas gauge isn't well and I filled up today after a week of driving, it took 21 gallons and I think I'm getting 10 MPG. Can that be so? I am enjoying driving but trying to not get a ticket. I was hoping for 15.

Hey rockwerx, your signature looks like My use to have list, 14 Astros and Safaris, and they all ran pretty good all though no V8s. I loaded some pictures on photo bucket and couldn't figure out how to get them on here.

Re: LT1 SWAP
I drove it all weekend and it was awesome. It's cool when at a stop light the vehicle next to me wants to get in front of me and I slowly axcelerate and leave them in the dust. It has a few small issues, look at all the pretty lights on the dash. I have pictures and am figuring out how to post them....

The first thing I would check is Fuel pressure. You don't need much fuel at idle. At start up you should have 60 lbs or better.
