Re: broken door handle
Don't waste your time drilling them out, there are nuts on the back side. If it's your rear door then it is easy to access by removing the interior door panel. If it's your drivers or passenger doors then you will need thin fingers to get at the nuts.

Aaron,
Wouldn't it be cheaper to install one of those primer bulbs (like the boats use) in line with your TBI, give it a few squeezes and your good to go.![maniac laugh :muhaha:](./images/smilies/smiley_aahi.gif)

Re: alex Mr roboto
Alex stopped by the panel shop today where I was working. Told him that the AstroSafari gang is wishing him the best, I even told him about the paint chip comment but couldn't remember who said it (sorry dunedog). He chuckled and said it sounded like Astrozam. Alex said the interview went well but h...

Re: alex Mr roboto
If our schedules work out tomorrow I may meet-up with Alex. I'll let him know we are supporting him and hoping for the best. During my conversation he brought up that his motor went out on his old Maytag dryer. As it turned out I still kept my motor from my old 45+ year old Maytag dryer (don't ask w...

Re: Cheap Big Brakes
Stopped in at AdvanceAuto and compared the stock 2WD Astro rotor to the 91 C-1500 2WD, the Astro rotor is about 1/2" large in diameter. No cheap upgrade there, but now I'm wondering about the Impala rotors. I mean those did come with 17" wheels, so maybe they have larger brakes. Keep in m...

Welcome RickU!
You sure don't waste any time doing mods to your van. The moog part should last the life of your van. Any idea on what size V8 you want to put in your Astro?

It's pretty scary that an electrical short could cause. Too bad a fuse or circuit breaker trip couldn't avoid it. Wonder if there will be any recalls from this?
Glad to hear nobody was injured.

Everytime I hear the Styx song Midnight Ride, I imagine the break in the song from the 8 track player switching tracks.
I since have bought the Equinox record on CD however I still listen to it on my 1950's vintage tube amp.
