Re: Suspension woes`
Jim, Is that there big bump stops? It is clearly the case the stock leafs aren't coping. The squeeking squelnching noise gets worse and more and more iritating everytime I need to go to a show. Its very wallowee to drive and backend horrid, I cant go over 50mph its just too hard to control. I would ...

Re: Fuel pump issue?
UPDATE: I limped home yesterday after some SPL testing in the middle of a field it ran like dog poo, spluttering and not idling at all. So.. enough was enough I knew there is an issue under the van with multi-plug loom. With the help of cd0156, I managed to identify the cables and cut them making an...

Re: Fuel pump issue?
That's what I was thinking!! Unfortunately, I have power past the round plug when the pump is not working.. :( the wires on the round plug: -black (center pin) fuel pump ground (this goes to a bolt right above the plug.. Make sure it is tight and has a good ground! I cleaned mine up a little just t...

Suspension woes`
Right, I have had enough of my squeeky squelchy sounding rear suspension. My Astro weighs around 7500lbs. Suspension comprises of drop spindles and drop springs up front with Bilstein shocks. Rear is stock multi layer leafs with Bilstein shocks. Also I have an AirRide lift bag setup. I did have a fl...

Re: New carpets
Yeh. So.. bottom line is avoid aftermarket poop.
Question is, where do we get high quality OEM spec stuff?

Re: Fuel pump issue?
Well.. This definatley is the round plug under/next to the tank. I broke down this weekend, pulled over and while a friend turned key i shook that plug, and u could hear the pump prime on/off as though there was a break in the wire. I drove it for 30 miles and no issues. I need to jack up the van an...

Re: Fuel pump issue?
The delphi pump has barely covered 500 miles since I fitted it, and the fram fuel filter. I know this problem happened to me last year in October coming back from a show it just cut out 1/4 mile from my home. Pulled over and wiggled the harness under the van next to the tank and it was all fine for ...

Fuel pump issue?
Hey folks I seemed to have developed a odd fault in the Astro. All of a sudden the van cut out, so I pulled over and waited for a while. Turned the key, could't hear the fuel pump prime. So I waited. Tried after 5 mins, nothing. Tapped the fuel tank, nothing. Grabbed the fuel pump wiring harness (ro...

Re: New carpets
I believe aftermarket kits are about $250 or so; I did a search awhile back but can't vouch for quality. I have to comment though, you've inspired me to paint my dash, that looks incredible! Is it special plastic paint so it's doesn't scrape off easily? So to get OEM fit carpet.. where would i have...

New carpets
Hey guys, I put down some new carpet when i built my chevy. The engine cover portion never sat right, I actually dont like the fit at all. Its obviously aftermarket, I got it from ebay. http://i423.photobucket.com/albums/pp316/Blade_ICE/the%20ending/IMG_2549.jpg http://i423.photobucket.com/albums/pp...

Re: Project Mayhem
Nothing to loose, thanks for the heads up. I'd just never heard of such a product before so I was skeptical ![smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I've thought about anti-shatter clear tint film.. 3-4 layers etc on the inside.
