Re: MAF p0102 code

Thanks for the info, I checked the signal wire.....and no voltage. I found the wire was broken where it comes out of the loom just before the sensor. Repaired wire and MIL is gone. Not sure that all problems are gone, but I am keeping an eye on it. Could driving it with that problem for a couple of ...

Re: MAF p0102 code

I was just checking to see what was supplying the MAF sensor, and was using a digital voltmeter. I do have access to a scope, and could check the signal wire. Any ideas what signal I should see? Also received a suggestion that the ground wire being 30 ohms above grond is bad. Anyone know where the M...

MAF p0102 code

I have had a p0102 code for a while now, and have checked for leaks around air box / throttle body, removed K&N filter and replaced with paper one, replaced MAF sensor with refurb unit from Murrays, replaced hose from side of throttle body to crankcase, replaced PCV valve with new, and I am stil...

Re: My tranny is starting to slip, 138,000 miles.

I have seen rebuilt tansmissions on ebay where they send you a rebuilt trans ~$900 and you ship old one back to them.

Less down time, savings in the 500-1000 range (sweat equity)

Just a thought.

Re: Air Intake / Filter mods - are they worth it????

I personally like the drop in K&N. It has been on my van since new, and has paid for itself a couple of times over.

Never noticed huge performance gains, but I also didn't purchase it for that. I just wanted a reusable filter.

Be careful not to over oil these (NOT GOOD)

Hope this helps!

Re: Acceleration problem

Thanks for the update. I want to put some time into the van this weekend. It's my M-F vehicle ( NO WORK, NO PAY ) I will check the O2 sensor behind the cat, and start looking into a cat replacement. Any tips / suggestions on type of cat or installation? Auto Zone has a universal cat. Is this just a ...

Re: Acceleration problem

Another update.

Yesterday was ~45 degrees F and it ran even better, still hesitation at full throttle, but was much peppier, and had more throttle range before it starting bogging.

Must be the whole running lean situation.

Any thoughts on where to start?

Thanks Again.

Re: Acceleration problem

Ok, I have pulled the codes and attached a screen shot of them. Today is a little warmer ( ~32 ) and it is running a little bit better...strange! More info: I have replaced the dist cap and rotor within the last month (arcing). Replaced w/ AC Delco. O2 sensors (3) were replace last summer. Bosch Kee...

Re: Acceleration problem

Funny you should mention fuel filter. I am currently on the 2nd fuel filter, and tried to change it last fall, but after working on it for about an hour and a half of soaking it in PB Blaster, and wrenchin it back an forth, one of the lines started to kink, and I proceeded to tighten it back up and ...

Acceleration problem

Started having problems accelerating. I can push gas pedal to a certain point, but if I push it any farther ( floor it ), it is like I just completely let off the gas. Sometimes if I hold it between the good and bad points, it will shudder. I do have a MIL and will get the codes this weekend and pos...
