Thanks for the info on the Scangauge II - it also does transmission temps as well, which was going to be another gauge I was looking into.....

This looks like it will do the trick!!

How difficult is it to install a tach on an 03 astro...and are there any tech tips on how to do so?

Just received my new JetChip GM performance programmer....went to update the computer on the van and....it doesn't WORK!!!! Called their customer service....they were all too familiar with the problem - it's a defective unit - have to send it back to them for a warranty repair!! Stay tuned for updat...

Thanks everyone for all your input.... I did check and we do have the 3.42 gears on the van...so we'll have to see how it does towing the new trailer.
