Re: V-8 Radiator. Help me Please

The Stewart pump is so efficient that it will almost cool the engine in reverse! Did the smae thing on my S-10 small block a while back. The radiator was the culprit on mine, but the Stewart pump almost overcame that! They're great!

Marines and Sailors

A Marine and a sailor were sitting in a bar one day arguing over which was the superior service. After a swig of beer the Marine says, 'Well, we had Iwo Jima ' Arching his eyebrows, the sailor replies, 'We had the Battle of Midway.' 'Not entirely true', responded the Marine. 'Some of those pilots we...

Re: Your opinions on these please - front air control arms

You can alter the air pressure to suit the road and the load inside. You can slam it in the parking lot during the shows and generally have fun with it. These types of control arms are the "thing" in the industry these days, no matter what type of ride you have. Custom, Rod, Muscle Car or ...

Re: Idler arms

Mine came from the original owner who is a friend and a fanatic about grease and maintenance. My idler arms are slightly loose. The only time I can tell is when I'm pulling my utility trailer with the Harley and have a load in the rear of the van or the front of the trailer, in addition to the bike....

It WAS doing 17ish in town and 20-21 on the highway
I think that's impressive, considering you have considerably more H.P. and displacement to feed! Hope my '39 does as well with 3.55 gears and the 4L80E....with it's 6.0!!

Re: Gas mileage

For comparison, my '98 LS gets 16-17 in town and 19-20 on the road, 16-17 mpg on the road towing my Harley and trailer 75-80 mph. HAsn't been tuned in a while. I thought it would pick up some with a K&N cone style air filter and a Jardine CAT back exhaust, but it is about the same in town and ma...

Re: LT1 SWAP

am enjoying driving but trying to not get a ticket. I was hoping for 15. I KNOW just how you feel! When I put my stroker in my S-10 a while back, I was so elated with the power that I "couldn't help myself"... MPG around town was i the 8-10 MPG range...Once I "got over" the new ...
