the only aftermarket brakes I have found that are an upgrade are from EBC Brakes or Power Slot thru Summit Racing Equipment

removed the nasty gold tape stripes and added my 18" rims and euro tail lights

My '89 just hit 249,000 miles today...no oil addage between oil changes....I do 6,000 mile oil changes now with Royal Purple and K & N oil filter with increased fuel mileage....

The support was cut on my 95 when I bought it and had brackets made that bolt it back together so if it needs to be removed again it can.

Yes Crash....they do use lots of salt on the roads here in the winter..............I hate it. I am gonna have to replace the rockers in my 89 this summer....one of the reasons I bought the 95. the 89 is gonna get a complete redo of the body.Everything taken off,glass,subframe,motor,trans,and wiring....

The intake valves were cupped,or as my machine shop guy said,sucked back up into the head. Something that he said the 4.3 has had a history of. Caused by a backfire of some sort. I had a really bad miss and ran bad to say the least.Shook misserably with no power and had a bad rich smell to it. It ru...

I had to have the heads reworked and new valves put in them...
it's got 147,000 miles and runs great now.
Got some plans for it...........mostly cosmetic...rims, lights, and so on.

Trenz has made custom grills for other Astros like the one you have described.It was on a van called Big Puddin.I think Trenz is now owned by Lund Corp....you could give them a call and see if they will fab you one.
