On the 04 astros with speakers in the d pillars and in the rear doors there is a crossover that only allows bass to play through the rear door speakers. I know this because today I installed new coaxial speakers in the rear doors and unpluged the pillar speakers. I am only getting bass out of these ...

I'm new Astro Owner and want to think everyone for the information on the site. My van is a 2004 AWD Astro. So far all I've done is add wheels, a jet programmer and some stereo upgrades. More to come.
