I tried the stock ecu and took it to a dealer to get the programing for it they wouldn't do it so I sent it off to get reprogrammed. It runs the same before and after the programming. also when it is a little warm it starts for a bit then stalls. http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp223/sparkyjdp/10...

I bought the engine from a salvage yard in witchita ks. It has roughly 168,000 miles and ran when pulled. Well I am new here and have already started my swap, in fact it is already in. I went with a 5.7 vortec out of a 98 chevy c1500.
