Re: What did you do to/with your van today?

Went to Advance Auto Parts and bought orange lamps for the front turn signals - went home removed the old faded orange lenses and put on the clear ones I got from someone here a year ago. Not real exciting but something. Just a thought maybe I should hit the You-Pull-It yards and see if I can find r...

Re: I am so Ticked off - Rear Brakes

SoCalli - no that was the problem I couldn't get the thing to back off. The Pass side came right off but the Drivers side was really hung up. All - Man that sounded like a good idea but has anyone ever done it? I cannot see how all that metal (brake shoes, connector link, adjuster, etc) is going to ...

I am so Ticked off - Rear Brakes

Re: a little slow

Was at my Saturn dealer having my Vue serviced ( oil chg & 15K checkup - not bad for a 2007 VUE) and saw a 95 or newer Astro - looked good inside - good tires and good paint marked CLUNKER - sad it looked better than mine does - also saw 2 VUE's for sale - both were NEW 2008's - go figure. Sad t...

Re: I have gotten sick

I have been diabetic since late 2000 when I had a stroke that effected my right side. Nothing works properly on my right side. Everything went haywire - even the testosterone level dropped to almost off the chart. I liked the comment about the new fangled meds not working - so true. About 8 months a...

Re: How much difference in driving by lowering it 2"?

At one time I had an 87 GMC Safari with no rear sway and 120K miles and working AC and an 88 Astro with rear sway, no air and 165K miles. The 88 handled so much better than the 87. i agree with the vote of adding a rear bar first.

Re: Tropical Storm Fay

hey DL how ya doin? my sister in Cocoa Beach said she heard the total was 27+" in 3 days. We got less than 1" at my place - in fact the pretty steady light breeze sucked enough water out of my pool that I had to add water to the pool.
