Hey Lifted, Do you think it is because of the 4:10s and big tires? I've driven my 2001 in the snow alot the last 6 years and have never
had that problem. It is probably the best vehicle in snow I've ever had and I've had lots of Toyotas, Suburas and Jeeps.
I haven't driven it in snow yet with the 4" lift and 30x9.5 tires.
Have a good week.

It did it last year just with the 3.42's, it wasn't a bother but it was always there. With the 4.10's and the stock tires I am running, the van simply puts more power to the road and it spins easier. There is a clutch rebuild kit available but I really don't want to put any money into an electronic t-case when I know I will be better off putting the same or less money into a true 2 speed t-case. I will be looking for a new t-case to install. Just need to decide whether I go NP 231 or NP 233. What's wierd is the 2003 AWD I had, had absolutely no delay in engagement! :-s

Yeh It was pretty funny, the trolly busses couldn't get up the hills
Image
They'd slid down and in to the kerb. Several of the diesel bendy busses jacknifed.
Image

This was around 8.30 that they started getting stuck though as I'd seen the busses earlier in the day make it up the hills. Im guessing it the was the number of people on the road and making them come to a stop on the hills.

Yeah, how embarrassing about our new bridge. Those ice missiles would have been lethal if there were motorcyclists pedestrians on the bridge. Good pics. Thanks for sharing those.

got hit by a clump of snow while driving home, dead center on the hood where the window starts.was freaking huge, blinded me for a couple scary seconds.
