Greetings from Halifax
Hello,
After getting my second Safari I find it now appropriate to join this forum. Learned my lessons and hope to learn more.
In about a week I have to part with my buddy SLX Safari (DOB '95, 280.000 km). I got her five years ago in reasonable shape and we went through ups and downs! I changed almost everything on her but now rust takes over as you know we have a very aggressive climate at the East Coast of Canada. New buddy Safari arrives coming Thursday. She is a 2000 SLT with 138.000 km. Leather seats! I'm thrilled!! Tow package, two power seats etc., although I did not like how she initially moved her spotless body. A set of brand new shocks is my house warming gift to her.
The Safari is a great vehicle. I traveled, moved, renovated, hunted, fished, shopped and went thousand of times from A to B with her. Thanks for this great car! If you like the BLUES you like the SAFARI!
Cheers
Martin
