Gordon, it appears that I don't have the right plugin for my computer to view your video, but anytime another Astro/Safari gets "V8'd", it's a good day!

How do you like the gearing in your van's differential? I've been kicking around the idea of installing a 3.73 LS rear end in my 89, but wonder if the higher engine RPM will bother me or not.

I love the 3:73 gears. My 93 has them as well and I don't find it noisy on the highway at all.

They are well worth the performance gain.

As for the video, it's coded for Windows Media Player and should play on any computer... idk why it won't work for you though.

That's the sound I was hoping for with my swap, with headers but it sounds sane going through the stock muffler. Yours sounds plain Mean, if my Astro sounded like that then for sure I would send my wife to work in it. BTW she's a Social Worker.

I worked at a custom Muffler shop in the mid 80's for a year and a half and I swore off glass packs after the first pull over by the cops. I take my 4 kids to a religious school every day and it would be interesting to see the look on the faces of those who like the short hair and well mannered children.
