have a look at my new astro

hi to all im an english man living in spain and ive just visited the uk to buy myself a gorgeous 1996 black chevy astro van.just waiting for it to arrive,should be here in two weeks.so i thought id join this site and start looking for tips and maintainence advice and have a chat with some of you lot about the astros.go easy on me tho ive never owned an astro before or anything american. my new astro is a japanese import into the uk.it says 15000 miles on the clock does anyone think that is genuine,it realy is in mint condition and the black paintwork is just so glossy i love it.have a look at the photos and tell me what you think,is it a starcraft conversion or riviera or what i dont know,any advice on it would be great thanks nik spain

Welcome to the site. You'll fine lots of good advice here. Watch out for the smurf. :smurf: He's a good guy with an awesome van, but a little weird at times.

Welcome to ASV's. Bunch of good folks here and by the way,,very very nice conversion. Not alot of black ones around.
It looks like the 15000 may be right but you'd be a better judge of that looking at the seat wear, scuffs on the plastic sill plate on the drivers side, carpet condition. Just over all general wear and then compare to another van.
