High gas prices, time to downsize?

I almost, kinda want one. Needs to be repowered with a sport bike engine though.

It's a Subaru Sambar, which is based on the Subaru 360. They were used by various parks departments and large manufacturing facilities in the US.

Now that needs to be in the circus carrying all the clowns around.
I thought in the first pic it was parked on the other side of the truck.

Dude, that thing is sweet. And it matches his wishing well! Is he going to use as yard art, like a gnome mobile or something? It would be a killer BMX hauler.


When I went to college in Japan, I rode in the backseat of one as these guys were driving way to fast thru little mountain villages, way too close to other veicles and guard rails. I felt like I was in a scary video game.

Just the perfect size van for Peter......................too bad it wasn't blue.
