My newest toy...

Post by LiftedAWDAstro »

Lynne and I went and picked up my newest toy. :muhaha: New in 2004 it was $4700+. We got it for $1400! :bounce: It's a Fisher EZ-V 8.5' V-plow and is in awesome shape. Plowing snow will be a blast this coming winter!

Thanks Jim.

The only way is to either run very large cable or install a second battery and run some smaller wires to the alternator.

The other option is to a mid-mount winch and run the cable to both ends with a setup that allows you to lock either end and pull the other. You only need to use up about 20' of the cable.

What is that used for ???
I don't think I've seen anything like that around here.
I was told getting my beauty sleep was a waste of time.

1990 Astro (Z motor) mostly original @ 343,584 miles (552,944.8488960001 Canadian) (03/2008). Bad startup puff. Starting to spray for skeeters. Gone 06/07/08.
1993 Astro with a bad W motor. Parked next to a chicken coop in Talking Rock GA
I'm 'tween Canton and Holly Springs (North NorthWest of Atlanta GA)
I haul bottled water everyday- between 500 and 2500 pounds (226.796185 and 1,133.980925 Canadian) INSIDE the van.

That looks like something that fell off a snow plow. The state of NY may want that back.

That's pretty cool. Pretty simple in design too.

Nice score. Decent plow too. My buddy works for a snow removal company and they run those exact plows on their trucks.
