Shift Kit preferences for a th350 trans... need some advice

Post by Gordon »

Ok 1969 turbo 350 trans... it needs a shift kit but which ones best?

Superior

Trans-go

B&M

I'm going stage 2 which is full race but still automatic. I want shifts that are so hard it knocks your teeth down your throat :D

Just looking for some opinions on which is "best" from you guys' past installs.

Thanks :swords:

good kit. had a turbo in my V-8 S-10 Blazer years ago, you could take off from a light on wet pavement as slow as you possibly could and when it changed into second would spin the tire half a turn. Would flat put your head back on gear change. Friend in Florence built the turbo and would chirp a tire coming out of passing gear at 60. Man it shifted hard and fast.

Also gonna lower it 3-4"

Custom dual stacks out the front of the box.

Flat black paint with a metal flake clear coat and a white 6" stripe down the hood and roof.

Should be an interesting project.
