cluster lights out

Post by stephanie »

a while ago I had posted about my cluster lights not working. I finaly got around to it, Sanja (reaper) solved the problem, so for those of you who have this same problem and can't figure out what else it could be. It turned out to be plastic backing were the copper runs all along, it was shorting out on the cluster it's self. so Sanja bunched up some electrical tape and wedged it in between the cluster and the copper leads were it was touching metal. As soon as we turned the lights on they all came on! :supz: Thanks to Sanja I can see in the dark!! :D

cool you got it resolved Stephanie. On the 93 it turned out to be the dimmer dial. took it out, cleaned it some dielectric grease and viola... there was light again.
