someone (me) got some new wheels!
This weekend I put on my new wheels I bought for my Astro. I got them at Discount Tire for a really good deal, $500 out the door. They are 17" Helo HE842 wheels and the tires I got free from a friend of mine who was upgrading his tires. they are Falken 225/55/17 (I think or maybe 225/50/17). They have at least 65% tread life left. I had my friend who works at a dealership mount the tires for me, all it cost me was a case of beer.

Nice wheels, great price too.
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.
