Could anyone lead me to the link to ID the computer in the donor van.It has service number 12277747 ATKX.

It has also number 16144691 ATKX.

that model of ECM was apparently used in a number of different vehicles.
It's the same model that's in my '89 for my 4.3. It was used in V8 trucks as well.
I think you have one too many 7's in the number...

this will narrow it down some.
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

Can't get it to link up to the data connector to scan.I took off the IAC motor,cop car injectors,fuel reg,and it idled like it is supposed to.But that didn't figure out what the problem was.Next step is to check the wiring harness one wire at a time. #-o #-o The IAC spring was wond tight.

The IAC should be self-adjusting???
