Re: ceramic brake pads w/ slotted rotors ????
i just put on slotted kvr's and used their carbon pads.......i feel a definite difference in braking......well worth the money in my opinion.
now i just have to figure out how to rig up the SS brake lines to work on my AWD. turns out the 2 wheel and AWD lines are different.
if interested let me know....i get a pretty good deal on them direct from KVR

Re: ceramic brake pads w/ slotted rotors ????
to "seat" brakes, I just try not to get into them too heavy for as many miles as I can.
As for the ceramic and slotted, I'm not impressed. I run them on both my '98 Astro and '63 Falcon. Not any measurable stopping power and worse, the Astro brakes still squeal form time to time. That was the whole reason I switched to the ceramic. I got a killer deal on the pads though. Kragen for $20! I couldn't believe it.
