After checkin out T Low's blast from the past Bullitt car chase scene yesterday,I decided to head on down to the local car cruisin night.
You couldn't have asked for better weather and there were easily over 200 cars to check out, I didn't find the elusive Charger and Stang combo, but I think I did pretty good nevertheless and besides, admission was free.

Boy,,the 2 door 57 Ford wagon brough back a few. My Mom had a white 2 door that I learned to drive with. And the 55, I had several during high school. What a car,,I think one of the best GM ever built.
Thanks for sharing the pics and bringing back a few great memories.

Ooooh, I just love that stacked headlight GTO...I learned to drive in my parents '64 Pontiac Safari station wagon and it also had the vertical headlights like the GTO. I guess I've got a soft spot in my head for that style of Pontiac.

Of all the '57 cars, a '57 Ford 2 door wagon is my fav. That is a sweet one! I almost bought a '57 delivery, a few years back. Still kick myself for not snagging it when I had the chance.
