I tried to search on Car-parts.com and couldn't find a interchange for the carb. When I did a search for the intake I found this:

I was just trying to get you a range and models might that fit.

I have seen them in '85 astro/safari's, 85-86 fullsize chevy/gmy pickups, and fullsize vans I assume the same years as the trucks but I don't know for sure. I would think that a base model caprice probably did as well, but I am not sure.

yeah i believe the first year (85's) are the only astro's that ever had the carb'd 4.3, but i would imagine carb'd 4.3 S-Dimes are quite plentiful, and as mentioned some full sizes too im sure.
99 SLT Safari AWD, G80/GT4 rear, Burgundy, 196,000 and counting (strictly AMSOIL) flowmaster 40series muffler no more cat, K&N Kone Filter, roll pan, 255/60/15 rubbers mounted to 15x8.5 inch American Racing Tailgunner wheels, billet grille, CB Radio, Alpine Deck, Shag carpet, the list goes on....
03 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, LB7 Duramax Diesel, 5 speed Allison Tranny, Crew Cab Long Bed, no muffler or cat, 4 inch turbo back and side piped. not too many other mods yet, also addicted to AMSOIL.

I don't think there ever was a carbed 4.3 in an s-10, the early ones had a 2.8 v6 until the late 80's after fuel injection was introduced.

I was looking on rockauto and it looks like the 4.3 was introduced in 1985 and was only carb'd in the astro in 85, and fullsize pickups/blazers/vans in 85 and 86. It was also in the caprice and elcamino but it was tbi.
