when I'm polishing the paint I just use the soft buff cloth that i'm removing the polish with and run it over the windshield. similiar 'run-off' effect .. just doesn't last as long.

Rain-X is one of the few products that I have seen advertised on TV that works exactly as promised. I love it. I do every piece of glass on my vehicles.

When I have taken rental cars on trips, I will make a pass back to my house so I can clean the windows and Rain-X them before I leave.

I have ben using the RainX washer fluid and it works just as well as the full strength treatment stuff.

After using a tank full, my windows stay just like I treated them. I swear by it.

Use the Rain-X washer fluid here, almost never use my wipers as a result.

I use Rain X regularly.

My wiper linking rods have worn to the point that my wipers sometimes get stuck i the upper position. I didn't want to spend the $350- the shop told me it was going to cost to fix them, so I just started using rain x. That was 150,000 miles ago. I now have 270,000 miles on her and the wipers still get stuck up there sometimes. (ugh!) But I can't complain too much. She still get's me where I need to go.

I loved when I used it on my 56 chevy that had broken wiper cables. The problem I had with it was when I actually used the wipers. It smeared a lot making it difficult to see so I stopped using it. Recently I lent my van to a buddy for a few days. He returned it with a full tank of gas, new wiper blades and filled it up with rainX wiper fluid. I actually like it now. The washer stuff works better than the regular for me.

I tried the rain-x washer fluid a while back and went back to the cheap blue stuff.
the rain-x left a haze outside the swipe of the wipers, that built up over time, and took a bit of scrubbing to get it off.
