Thanks you (who ever you are) for the anonymous tip

Post by T.Low »

Sunday nite I received an email of a forwarded Craigslist ad for a Westphalia seat/sofa/sleeper for $100, that was twenty minutes from my house.

I first called the guy with the sleeper seat and made arraigements to go look at it. I then tried to respond to the email address that forwarded the ad in the first place, but was denied over and over again.

timcptom@msn.com

Well, I own the seat now, and will modify it to work.

Big thanks if it is anyone on this forum that gave me the hot tip!

Edit: We rented "Speed Racer" that nite, and it was in the DVD player waiting for us to turn it on while I was calling the seat owner. A couple minutes after telling Fiancee that I can't figure out where the email came from, we sat down in front of the tv with popcorn and the movie atoumatically started without either one of us hitting the button! :-k :yikes:
"What the hell's going on around here?!!" Phanotm emails, DVDs starting by themselves... 8-[

My dvd player will start auto if left on pause more than 10 mins. Sort of like a screen saver for these new TV's. Not all of them do it though from what I heard.

Phrisk, should I break out the black paint and make my van look like this? Or the way things are going around here, I may just caome home from work and find my van already painted like that.

Ha ha haaaa! Yeah, it does look good, doesn't it. At first I didn't know what to think of it, but now I'm starting to really like it.

Hmmm.

Give a few days to think about it ...
wait nevermind ... that looks pretty good :D
But there is something to leaving it "look" stock that makes it look very interesting to people - you know what I mean?

Yes I know exactly what you mean.

How difficult is it to take the fascia on and off, bumper fascia and lower (rocker panel area) fascia? I already have two sets of the same wheels. I could get another set of the lower body panels, and have a black set and a stock pewter set...cuz I'm a geek like that!
