I'm back

Post by MD/Astro\CL »

I finally got back from my Army training that was supposed to be less than 6 months and ended up being more than a year. I missed my van so much I had to buy a truck while I was in Texas, it's a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Lone Star edition. Got a few things done to the truck, dual exhaust, diamond plated bed rails, and a tool box. It's a nice lil truck but I will always like my van more! The van is running better than ever now that it got a year long vacation in the garage. Now I get to take on bigger projects with the van  Now if it would only let me post pics

Welcome home Lindsey!! Good to see you back! So how was boot camp? (It probably isn't politically correct to call it that anymore, and someone somewhere is offended by it!! #-o ) If and when you get deployed, please remember that your service is greatly appreciated by me and many others, and I'll be praying for your safe return.
Nice truck, but like you say; I like your van more. :supz:
Take care!

Boot Camp (they call it BCT now for Basic Combat Training, you know how the military loves to have acronyms for everything) was actually pretty fun, we had guys and gals all together so there were some stories...but overall it was a great experience, untill I had to go to Fort Lee for 2 months, complete dump, but that's a whole other story. I'm National Guard so I will get to stay home for quite awhile. Had to get the truck to stop putting miles on the van. My future plans for the van are an Eaton locker, some fog lights, bigger engine mods, and maybe even a bigger lift :muhaha: I swear my van has more power than the new truck does.
