Paint is finally done

Post by BMBMVAN »

It's been a while since I've posted on here, but I've looked in from time to time. The van has been under construction for the last couple years, but it's ready to get back on the street. Paint is finished. We just have a few little things to put back on.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

I don't normally like the wild paint but your van is really a stand out. Love it.
1989 RS Astro, V-8 and maybe a shift it myself tranny, still deciding on this one. Dutch doors, Cad tail lights, shaving the rest now. 12 bolt rear end was in the van when I got it but changing how it sets to lower.

Thanks guys. I should be driving it again next week. I can't wait. I helped a little with the paint, but mostly it was a couple friends of mine here in Chillicothe Ohio. They both have shops and kinda help each other out. I'll post more on the project when I can get into the hard drive. My home computer crapped out on me and most of the pics are on that hard drive. This laptop doesn't have a big enough hard drive to store all that. My site on Cardomain shows a lot of the work from 4 years ago. I have to update that one as well. I'm somehow locked out from logging in to it. There tech people are working on it though.

Well Chillicothe is not very big. I live right off downtown and work right in downtown. If you drive by the park on Water Street, you'll see either my van or my red Eclipse Spyder turbo. I get up to Columbus all the time. I work for a security company installing and servicing burglar alarms. Our supplier is up there. We have some customers there. Plus there are day's I just need to go to Kahoot's for lunch.......Image
