Post by peter »

Why didn't anyone think of this before? It's the perfect solution for our crime-ridden society! :supz:

Agreed! As we move closer and closer to socialism in this country with our current government this fundamental right will begin to erode... God help us all [-o<

man this has been going on for so long. I come from a long line of deep east texas hillbillies, for lack of a better word, on my mother's side. in the 60's and 70's she used to always tell me, if the government ever tries to take our guns, we'll bury them in the back yard before we'll let them take them.
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

Peter, what a super idea! I want to turn my van into a gun free zone while I'm in the mountains camping. I don't need an enitire Gun Free Zone kit just for the van; would anyone like to go in halves and share with me? Gosh, thanks Petey, this is really a special moment for all of society.

Do they offer a Grizzly Bear Free Zone kit, too? I want to be safe.

The truth of the matter is that if there weren't alot of people who already thought it would be that easy, it would be funny.

What I don't understand is this;

Almost everyone I talk to about the cause of crime and the effects of gun control seems to agree that "The Gun" isn't the problem, it's more of a symptom. 9 outta every 10 people I talk to agree that gun control is useless for removing guns from the hands of criminals who don't follow the law to begin with...

And Ontario? Jesus, Mr Miller (mayor of Toronto) actually tried to push through a handgun bad for Canada. There's not one person I've personally talked to who lives in Ontario who agrees with most anything that this nutjob has done for Toronto. How come he's still in office? He actually started closing down gun ranges located on public properrties in the city of Toronto. Went as far as to state that if banning handguns from Toronto meant that the yanks might boycott Toronto, so much the better. "We don't want their money anyways" or something to that effect. I dunno, is it just me? [-(

I seriously think they should have gun free states myself. Let all them idioits move that think guns are the problem. Hell i'll even relocate if the make MO the gun free state. the rest of the states have right to carry and "castle" laws. <right to shoot anyone breaking in to your home>. Then you get to see where the violent crime go up and where they go down.
