MPG on a 4 banger?

Post by pengyou »

Does anyone remember the the mpg was on an Astro with a 4 banger? the websites say 25-26 mpg.

Here are the revised EPA numbers for the 1986 Astros. The original window stickers were slightly higher.

Many felt the Iron Duke was a little under powered for these vans.

Note:
When I paid attention to how I drive, I could roughly match the 4 cylinder's mileage numbers with Green.

You will crappy gas milage with a 4 banger because you will be flooring it to get out of your own way. I got 16-19 with my TBI V6 and 18-21mpg with my V8, < because my foot is hardly on the gas.
