I'm not so sure, apparently he has a hard time closeing a deal... :poke: We already have a bunch of undone US projects all over the world...come to think of it, your right, he's perfect for the job! I'm behind ya all the way Matt!
You sir are getting close to being on 'the list' with ol'e Petey! :swords:

(Come to think of it, you both have about the same amount of $$ tied up in your vans..... :poke: )

Getting back on topic though... If you (pengyou) are serious about putting a hightop on your van, I'd just find one in a junkyard and figure out how it was originally mounted and duplicate it. I'm guessing structural integrity isn't affected much. Now if you try and convert a hightop into something that opens even further, you might run into problems.

I understand the idea about cutting and welding but I do not have these skills. If I make a mistake trying there there is no amount of duct tape that is going to help me. I think I will go back to the drawing board for a while on this and see what comes up.

Peng, its been over half a year. Did you take a welding class last winter? If you did, you know how to weld now, don't you.

posterior....mistake intended =D> I will have to put my plans on hold for a while - have to go overseas to earn money to pay for the thing, as well as a few other bills. But I will stay in touch from a distance :dunce:
