This just goes to show how the off-road look can improve a vehicle! This is actually a decent looking Aztec! (Is it sitting on a different frame, or is it just a highly modified stock unibody? I'm guessing the later.)

Looking at the pics, I'd guess a combination of suspension lift and engine cradle drop.

Was probably done the same way we do the Safaris and Astros. Subframe spacers and rear suspension lifts.

Agreed. In my book, the Aztec is the single most butt f***ing ugly vehicle ever designed by man.

Nothing, except crushing them and turning them into something else, can improve the looks of one.

I agree about the looks of a stock one. I'm not sure an uglier vehicle ever came out of Detroit. I really kinda dig this one though. My only gripe is I hate tires/wheels sticking out past the fenders. But a creative body guy could take care of that.

hmm.. interesting. i agree on the looks. before or after

mbrp is a Canadian exhaust company that obviously has ventured elsewhere... here's the 2002 feature on the uglyass tek http://www.mbrp.com/inthenews.php?secti ... oandsound2

i really hope they beefed up the stock wheel bearings, they eat them in stock form. with those wheels and tires and the offset, i'd cringe at the thought of replacing them every month or two

some things seem like a good idea on paper i guess.. LOL :vom: i'm sure it's floating someones boat somewhere

I must admit that I'm kinda digging this, when I normally abhor the Aztek.

Has me thinking I want an Aztek as my 2012 BABE Rally vehicle, pity they won't be old enough for several more years.

I think the better question is, if she's that ugly, why did you marry her?

I think you should create a poll with her pic so we can rate her.
