97/94 4.3 same block and heads ?

Post by thefrog747 »

I'm sure someone can help me here with a quick question. I driving a 97 Safari AWD and I also just retired my 94 Safari AWD. What I'd like to know is if the 4.3 out of the 94 is the same block and heads as the 97. I want to have a rebiuld longblock sitting on the floor to swap out after my 97 gets tired.
Thank you in advance !!
