Nah, I will paint the filler primer then block it down flat, I will leave the painting to the pro`s in a proper spray booth.

Okay, have you found out how the custom paint should look like? Here in Sweden, it is always very secret when someone will have a custom paint, so if you don´t want to tell, I understand. At the same time I don´t want to know, I wait until it´s finished.

I don´t need to say "good luck", because you are skilled =D>
Hope you get a painter as skilled as you are.

I get very inspired by your work, it gives a spark to my Astro project. :)

Thankyou for your compliments. My paint job is not gonna be 'that' secret, but I do want it to be original though.

Melted off the bolts of the heat shield on the Cat ... I had some rattling noise and could not figure it out for about 5 weeks till I noted the rocks between the metals.

took the 93 on the hwy for the first time in 2 years.. #-o

after checking all fluids I hit the road and kept one eye glued to the temp gauge (simply based on paranoia) .. the 90min return trip went smoooth, it ran awesome. although, it needs shocks all around, front calipers & rotors, rear shoes & drums... all of which driving to and from work (5min from home) and only around town, you never notice any of that ... LOL top speed for the last 2 years has been around 50 - 55 km/h

i just sat in the slow (right) lane at around 110km/h (about 68mph), limit is 100km/h. everyone looking at me as they passed. not sure if it was because i was doing close to the speed limit or because i was driving a crappy looking van with 70's molded running boards and grampa caprice classic rims :-k

i did get a scare after a newer yellow corvette with a menacing cowl hood was cruising behind me doing the same oddly slow speed as me for several kms (i think he must have been texting and using me as a rolling shield lol). i'm neither a big vette fan nor a yellow car fan, but this cowl hood looked awesome! minutes later a neon r/t and crossfire went past in the fast lane doing about 30 - 40km/h faster than me and the vette. about 7 secs after they went by i thought the motor in the van was letting go.. this loud groan from under my van. i think 'oh no' and look at the gauges real fast, all fine, up to the rear view to see if smoke hitting the front of the vette and there's no smoke and no vette. i instantly hear the noise sounding like a jet plane on my left as i look the vette is passed me, two lanes over to the left and GONE! (along with the noise that scared the poop outta me). within seconds he's past the chrysler power houses (sarcasm) and about 20 cars beyond, lets off and rolls back into the slow lane just to cruise respectively. almost just to flex his muscles and say, just checkin'

Washed my girl today and also took out the park lights and buffed them up to new like as mentioned in another thread. I cheated though, I used a power buffer and it took me like ten minutes.
